Congratulations! You are in possession of a savory blend of the finest sourced spices this world has to offer. This special concoction has been perfected over many years of trial and error to produce a grilled steak that, at least a couple people, have described as AMAZING.  So how do use you this dang stuff!

Well I'm gonna tell ya!

We like Ribeyes but use whatever steak is your favorite.

Important!

Prepare your steak at least a day ahead. This helps your steak infuse itself with delicious goodness. You can also prepare it and freeze it for later use. We have frozen the prepared steaks for use weeks, months and maybe even years after we've vacuum bagged them.

1 • Coat your thawed steak with a olive oil. The oil is gonna help your sprinkles stick to it.

2 • Sprinkle those Sprinkles on your steak generously on both sides.

3• Now cover with plastic wrap and put them in the fridge overnight (or freezer if its not for immediate consumption).

Pro Tip • Remove steaks from fridge at least a couple hours before you plan to cook them. This gets them to room temperature and facilitates a more even cook.

I grill on a Weber kettle grill and it does a pretty good job but any grill will be fine.

I use mesquite wood chunks for my fire. Oak chunks give a nice flavor also. I avoid the fruit woods for steaks. A charcoal chimney works great for getting the coals to the perfect stage.

When the coals are all red hot, dump them out to cover half of the grilling area.

Let your grill surface get hot (at least a few minutes). Drop the steaks over the heat and keep an eye on them.

Pro Tip • Get a pair of long tongs. That fire gets HOT!

Pro Tip • If you grill after dark, get a headlamp.

Your gonna see flames a flamin' not unlike the gates of hell perhaps and you might think this is not going well but TRUST THE PROCESS! STAY ON TARGET! Get a nice sear on one side and flip it. Just repeat and get a nice sear on that other side. Might be a few minutes on each side.

NOW, after both sides have a nice sear,  move those steaks to the side that does not have coals (or fire) directly under it and put your lid on. Give it about 5 minutes, check and flip for another few minutes. Let it go longer if you want more of a medium cook.

Remove your steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Then proceed to enjoy!

You can use the same general technique with gas grills and achieve satisfactory results as well.
